Travis Keith Garland, 31, is a member of the neo-Nazi organization Goyim Defense League. Garland was arrested for harassing people inside the Gordon Jewish Community Center in Nashville on January 15th, 2025. In a private GDL chat, Garland stated he went into the Jewish Center to harass Jews. Garland is an active member of the GDL under the alias “kitchenwaffen” and participated in the GDL’s 2024 hate tour in Nashville.

Garland was previously found guilty in 2015 for killing an elderly man in a hit-and-run.

This week Travis Keith Garland of Maryville, Tennessee was arrested for trespassing and assault based on an incident at a Jewish community center in Nashville. He livestreamed the incident and discussed it in online channels dedicated to the neo-nazi hate group Goyim Defense League.

Garland posted a video of the incident in a private GDL Telegram chat, explaining that he “[…] went into their jew building harassing them […]”

Garland also referred to the Gordon Jewish Community Center’s security guard with an anti-Asian slur.

Travis K Garland, 31, has a long and varied criminal history. In 2015 he received a sentence for a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian. Articles about that sentence refer to an earlier conviction for aggravated assault. Additional records point to firearms and drug charges, although some appear to be sealed.

Presumably to promote his stunt at the Gordon Jewish Community Center, Garland posted a video of himself at the Nashville Holocaust Memorial wearing a Halloween “rabbi” costume and performing an offensive Jewish caricature.

Last year, Garland posted a photo in the now-banned “GDL Chat 3.0” Telegram channel with GDL leader Jon Minadeo inside the property the hate group rented for their Nashville “Name The Nose” hate tour.
