Goyim Defense League Nazi: Shawn Barnish (Glendale, Arizona)
Richard Shawn Barnish (53) of Glendale, Arizona is an active member of neo-Nazi organization Goyim Defense League. Shawn works with McCarthy Construction as an HVAC technician in the Glendale/Phoenix area where he also distributes neo-Nazi, white supremacist, and anti-LGBTQ+ propaganda.
Shawn is a follower of the deeply anti-LGBTQ+ and antisemitic The New Independent Fundamental Baptist (New IFB) Movement.
Shawn runs the somewhat popular hackfreehvac channel on YouTube, as well as the Arizona Derelict Watch homeless voyeurism channel.
Shawn is armed and has posted to Telegram about his desire to shoot gay people, Black people, and Jewish people.

Today we’re taking a look at Richard Shawn Barnish, a white supremacist, who drives around with his truck in Glendale Arizona and surrounding areas yelling rude things at people who are wearing masks, appear transgender, or are asking for money.
Shawn’s Activism
Shawn Barnish regularly posts videos on Telegram and Gab of him yelling at random people through a megaphone on his truck. He likes to target people wearing masks, people he suspects of being gay, and people who are asking for money.

Shawn’s activism went from unhinged anti-masker to full on neo-Nazi, when he started distributing propaganda for the neo-Nazi organization Goyim Defense League. This is a video Shawn shared to the semi-private GDL Telegram channel under his alias Josiah King.
If we take a look at the Josiah King Telegram profile, we can easily tie it back to Shawn Barnish as he uses the same photo on a Facebook profile in his name.

To be certain that Josiah King is in fact Shawn Barnish, let’s take a look at one of Shawn’s Facebook accounts, called Josiah King, which he uses to complain about a “Shawn Barnish” account being banned.
Shawn also posts his antisemitic GDL activism to the white nationalist Gab TV platform.
Shawn’s website GodGunsGutsGlory , which is linked on many of his social media accounts, promotes and links to Pastor Steven Anderson’s Faithful Word Baptist Church website.

HVAC
Outside of his Nazi content, Shawn also runs a somewhat popular HVAC YouTube channel called “hackfreehvac.”
Shawn tries to hide his identity on his hackfreehvac channel, but much of the content mirrors that of his channels, including his vehicles, pictures and videos of his family, and his vehicles. In one post, Shawn even lets a photo of himself slip in.
Shawn Barnish’s channel suggests he works with McCarthy Building Companies. A video posted to Shawn’s hackfreehvac channel dated June 5th, 2023 at Crimson Elementary School shows Shawn’s co-workers wearing McCarthy Building Company branded equipment. Crimson Elementary has confirmed that McCarthy does the HVAC work for their building.
In a video dated August 8th, 2023, a reflection picks up another McCarthy logo:
However, after contacting McCarthy, their representatives said they have no record of Shawn Barnish working for them. Either there is a miscommunication or McCarthy is bringing this neo-Nazi onto their job sites as a contractor. Regardless, it is a good idea to politely ask McCarthy Building Companies to cut ties with this neo-Nazi (see the action items below) as he has a habit of revealing sensitive information about his clients’ facilities….

Shawn also distributes propaganda for the GDL while on work trips for his employer.
Conclusion
Shawn Barnish is a threat to Jewish, Black, and LGBTQ+ people. He engages in neo-Nazi activism with the end goal of genocide. Barnish posted about shooting marginalized people in the Goyim Defense League Telegram channel, and is armed.
